“It’s just a blast, it’s like an MMO.
You’re out there fighting with other players for control of resources,” says Daniel Smith, CEO of Fortnites creator Psyonix.
“The only thing that separates Fortnits from the other MMOs is that it’s free to play, so it’s a great opportunity for people to jump in.”
The game’s popularity has led to a growing number of online games, which in turn have become a lucrative business.

Psyonux, which is headquartered in Santa Monica, California, has made a name for itself in the world of virtual reality gaming.
It is the publisher of the popular and highly successful game Unreal Engine 4, which also powers its Fortnified multiplayer game.
Biddle says that Psyonox has built a robust infrastructure around Fortnitizers, a feature that allows players to create their own content.
The company has also made it easy for developers to create Fortnitions, the first to be released for mobile devices.

Fortner also feels that Fortnivre has become more accessible, with more options to choose from and more of a “fun, casual, and fun” approach.
“A lot of the older games had you playing on an arcade or something that was just a little bit different,” he explains.
“And then, now, you can play on a TV, on a computer, in your living room.”
The online community Fortniti has created has been hugely popular, but it is not the only reason people are enjoying it.

“Most of the content people share is really fun, because you get to see the community, the fun, the friendships, and then you get a little bonus when you share it with people who want to play with you and get some fun from it,” says Smith.
“This is a great way to keep in touch with other people.

The new year is also an opportunity for Fortnition to celebrate its 30th anniversary, which will be celebrated with a special event on December 12.
“At the moment, we are really enjoying the game, and the community is just really amazing.
We’ve got so many people playing, and so many of the new players are just so excited about it,” Smith adds.
Fortner has made some changes to the game since its launch.
“In Fortnitive, you now can buy weapons and armour for the characters, so now you can equip them on the characters themselves,” he adds.
“When you play the game in multiplayer, you don’t actually need to buy armour and weapons.
